We had an unbelievable time at Secrets Cap Cana! Our honeymoon was perfect! Everything was smooth from beginning to end and the customer service we received at the resort was amazing. Our butler took care of anything we needed and we never lifted a finger all week. Food was amazing and drinks were cold! I’ve booked with dream vacation hunters three times! Heidi helped me book a couples trip to Cabo and a group trip to Cancun. It isn’t easy booking for a group of people but Heidi made it stress free! As always, the Hunter family outdid themselves helping us plan this amazing experience. Some things about Alaska…the “season” for tourism is late March/early April to early/late October. There’s pros and cons to going at either end. For ours in mid-October, they only had one more ship left and they were done for the season. A lot of their population work in tourism and are seasonal residents. A lot of them had already left and moved on to other gigs (apparently, most go to Hawaii during this time). This means that a lot is closed - including stores, restaurants, and many excursion options. It all depends on what you wanna see. The salmon spawning, dog sledding, fishing, seeing lots of wildlife, all that will happen in the core season. We got extremely lucky with our weather so we saw a lot more wildlife than expected (not many fish or bears or deer/goats since it’s cold and/or they’re hibernating). Northern lights won’t really be a thing unless you’re going farther north like Anchorage area and you’re going in a time with typically good weather. There’s websites you can look at that’ll predict solar storms but just like the weather, it’s iffy to predict. October was cheaper but it is very cold and wet and if it’s not raining it’s cloudy, as most of Alaska is part of the Tongass rainforest. If I get another chance, I’ll go in the summer. But I will say, I’m happy we went when it was cold too because the nature, glaciers and tundras, are truly breathtaking. Heidi planned us the perfect honeymoon. We chose to do an all inclusive, not sure we would want to do anything other than that now. The resort in Punta Cana was beautiful, filled with amazing views, so many activities, and nice rooms! We had the swim up room which was amazing. I am SO glad my friend referred me to Heidi to book such a special trip. Heidi was always so quick to respond to my (manyyy) emails- even when she was on vacation herself! Heidi took care of booking flights, securing our room, arranging transportation to and from the airpot, recommending excursions, and she even went above and beyond to speak to the manager of the resort so we had a bottle of wine awaiting us in our honeymoon suite. We ultimately landed on Secrets St. James - Montego Bay in Jamaica. We had an incredible ocean view swim out room - which we have decided was the best room on the resort! We had the best honeymoon we could ever ask for - Heidi made the planning process as simple and easy as it could possibly be for us - took all of the stress out of vacation planning! We LOVED our hotels in both Santorini and in Athens, and the excursions she recommended were also amazing! Loved that we were able to provide our budget and target dates, and Heidi made everything happen. Also loved the extra perks we received (such as a honeymoon cake & campaign, and fruit/wine from the hotels). We had one of the best weeks of our lives and are soooo thankful!The only change I would make is allowing plenty of time (3+ hours) for transfers between flights, when it involves international travel. With the extra COVID protocols, lines are long, and when transferring between airlines, it can take awhile for bag transfers, re-check-ins, security, etc.

Heidi took care of our fiancé from start to finish - the details and extras she was able to secure were incredible. She did such a great job, and it turned out better than if we had planned it ourselves (which we usually love doing but we decided it was worth a shot to take some of the wedding planning pressure off!). Hi Mike!I just wanted to say thank you so much for helping me and Alex plan our honeymoon it was so much fun! We absolutely loved the cruise. You and your wife are going to have a blast on Carnival Liberty! Now that the trip is over me and Alex wished we would have just done a cruise for 7 days instead of Disney, but it was still a neat experience for us.
When you guys take your cruise I highly recommend their steakhouse restaurant to do at least one night that your there. That was the best food! We still can’t get over how perfect everything was. And the balcony room was amazing, I don’t know if I could ever stay in another stateroom after that!
Since we’ve been back I think I’ve talked my mom and sister into taking a cruise with us next year around May for my sisters graduation from nursing school. So I would love your help maybe planning another cruise! I hope you and your wife have an amazing time on your cruise!

April 20, 2019This is the third trip we have had the pleasure of using Cruise Planners with Mike and Sheri Hunter. Thank you, Cruise Planners, for helping us plan a great vacation to Big Island, Hawaii. The submarine tour was extraordinary unique and the Luau was very impressive. Car rental and airfare was so easy with your reservations for us. Also, the hotels in Los Angeles were very nice and accommodating with shuttle transfer to and from LAX.
Our second trip was last summer 2018 to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. The arrangements you made for our hotel, tickets to Dollywood (with preferred parking), the Comedy Barn, and the Ripley’s Aquarium made our visit easy, hassle-free, and fun for us and our grandkids.
Our first time using Cruise Planners was last spring 2018 to Universal Studios in Orlando. No hassles and great accommodations. We had so much fun on this trip!
We are now in the process of our fourth trip using Cruise Planners. This trip is a cruise on Carnival Liberty in January 2020. We are looking forward to fun in the sun!

Mike Hunter did a masterful job researching and actually traveling to Jamaica to become a Sandal's representive. He stayed at two of the resorts and visited several others. When we told him we wanted to try a Sandal's all inclusive resort, he asked us several questions regarding our "dream" vacation. Mike, I just want to say thanks for planning our cruise around the Hawaiian Islands. Now this trip was one for the books, it was certainly a blast. Everyday was a new adventure at a different island. There was so much to do and it was nice to know that at each port our excursion was already taken care of. We would just get off the cruise shipped and we would experience a fun filled day of touring, trying new cuisine, shopping or one night we had a luau. Such a magical experience.
